Dawson, born May 9, 1979 [3in America] is an American actress. In 1995, she
made her feature film debut with the independent drama Kids. Since then, she
has appeared in films such as He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats
(1901), Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and
Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson has also provided voice-over
work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics and ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For
her performance in Rent, Dawson won the Satellite Award for Best Supporting
Actress for a Motion Picture; for her role in Top Five, she was nominated for
the Critics' Choice Movie Award for the Best actress in a comedy. Dawson was
born May 9 1979, in New York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban
and Puerto Rican ancestry. Rosario was 16 at the time Isabel was born. Her
mother, Isabel Celeste, never had a wedding with Patrick C. Harris. Rosario's
mom, Greg Dawson, was employed as a construction worker when she was just one
year old. In the marriage, Dawson has a half-brother, Clay, who is 4 years
younger than her. Dawson is also famous for her various roles in comic-book
adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill
For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the series from Marvel/Netflix
(2015-2018), and providing the voices of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC
Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl
on The Lego Batman Movie. She was Ahsoka Tano's character in the Mandalorian's
second season in 2020. Also, she will be the main character in the Disney+
original series Ahsoka. She will also appear in Young Rock, an autobiographical
comedy show created written by Dwayne John , which will premiere in 2021.
