Sofia Margarita Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara, Spanish was born on July 10 1972. She is an actress presenter, producer model, and TV presenter from Colombia. Vergara was the highest-paid actor on American television from 2013 between 2013 and 2020. Vergara rose in prominence during her time hosting two shows on Univision's Spanish-language TV network in the latter part of the 1990s. Chasing Papi (2003) was her first role in a major role in English. She subsequently appeared in Four Brothers (2005) and Tyler Perry's comedy films Meet the Browns (2008) and Madea Goes to Jail (2009) with an ALMA Award nomination for the second. In 2009, she was able to begin as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the ABC comedy series Modern Family for which she was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards, and eleven Screen Actors Guild Awards.Vergara was also featured in the movies The Smurfs (2011), New Year's Eve (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Machete Kills (2013), Fading Gigolo (2013) Chef (2014), and Hot Pursuit (2015). The voice-overs she did were Happy Feet Two (2011) and Escape from Planet Earth (2013). She was also a part of The Emoji Movie (2017). Vergara was also a top-paid Hollywood actress in the year 2020. Vergara is a judge on America’s Got Talent since 2020. Vergara was raised in Barranquilla by a Roman Catholic couple. [8] Her mother, Margarita Vergara de Vergara was a domestic worker, and her father, Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo, was a rancher of cattle for the meat industry. By her five siblings, as well as many of her cousins, she was called "Toti". Vergara was a former student at the National University of Colombia in dentistry. She then left after two years to pursue opportunities in modeling and show business.
