Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was born Los Angeles,
California to Quincy Jones, a media producer and mogul, and Peggy Lipton,
Rashida is the younger sister of actress Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones. Kidada
Jones is her elder sister. She has five half-siblings from her father's other
relationships. Her father is African-American, and her mother is Ashkenazi
Jewish (a descendant from the emigrants who emigrated from Russia and Latvia).
Rashida was raised in Reform Judaism. She was born in Bel Air Los Angeles,
California. Jones said that Jones' mixed race parents did not suit her during
the 1970s. Jones made her professional acting debut on The Last Don, a
mini-series that aired in 1997 based on the novel written by Mario Puzo.
Rashida also graduated from Harvard University in 1997. She was a student at
the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks (California). Voted Most Likely to Suffer.
Arabic (O+ O'UO-O(c) (her name) is a reference to "Major," adult,

singer was featured in a tribute song to Tupac Shakur, who was engaged to her
sister, Kidada Jones. Kidada as well as Rashida were recorded by Quincy Jones
III, the brother of Quincy Jones III. Quincy Jones III was present for the
intro and read the lines from Shakur’s poem "Starry Night." The poem
was the inspiration behind the song's title. Rashida is African-American and
has little English, Scottish, or Welsh heritage than his mother (some of his
African ancestral ancestors were from the Tikar tribe from Cameroon). Her
mother, Rashida, is Ashkenazi Jewish (of Russian Jewish and Latvian Jewish
descent). Her paternal grandparents, both of South Carolina, and Mississippi
and Mississippi, were her paternal grandparents. Her maternal grandfather was
born in New York and her maternal grandmother who is of Eastern European Jewish
descent, was born in Dublin, Ireland. In the year 2009, she had played three
different characters as "Karen", on the sitcoms of the past: Freaks and
Geeks (1999), Stella ((2005) and The Office ((2005)).
