Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell is an American chef-turned-tv personality, as well as a former teacher at the Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts The Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Following graduation, Chef Burrell spent a year in Italy participating in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners during her time at La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one Michelin-starred restaurant located in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian tradition and philosophy, which has had an impact on her own food and culinary experience. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation.
